Challenge

Automic, a workflow automation company, knows its clients have hectic workloads and are managing several projects, larger workforces variety of programs at once. Dollar Universe, its IT workload automation software, automates jobs, tasks and processes in IT environments. Automic wanted to develop a product proof of concept that would scale to suit the needs of a range of enterprises and environments.

Approach

Akendi partnered with the client developers in an iterative, collaborative process to provide seamless scalability. Akendi redesigned the interaction and visual design of the user interface to make it intuitive and to provide more specific insights and tools. The visual design approach gave the product an up to date look and provided improved data visualizations.

Impact

The redesign of Automic’s Dollar Universe software makes it scalable, easier to use and cost effective. When complete, the application will let users test workloads before deployment, give them simplified configuration and monitoring and improve visibility across servers.
