Paper Prototype Usability Testing

Identify UX design improvements with paper prototype testing.

Paper prototype testing will help you gain insights into how users use the digital product and move through their tasks as well as what language they use to describe objects and content. Our role is to help you identify where they experience difficulty because the user interface (UI) doesn’t support their needs. PAPER PROTOTYPE INSIGHTS

VALIDATE DESIGN

Where to start

A kick-off meeting to discuss project goals, timelines and research objectives is followed by an indepth consultation with the team to understand your vision, mission and design objectives.

We develop a walkthrough plan and paper prototype testing protocol that the research will follow.

TIMING
The typical duration of paper prototype testing is 3-4 weeks.

How we do it

We recruit end users, arrange test facilities, coordinate test sessions and record both quantitative and qualitative metrics and behavioural observations.

Methods we typically use include:

  • Structured one-on-one user sessions
  • Observing users as they complete tasks
  • Recording users’ interactions and feedback
  • Remote Usability Testing sessions
  • Usability Testing of mobile devices
